The CLAI Cooperative
CLAI is an agricultural cooperative in Imola (BO) specializing in the production of cured meats, particularly salami, and fresh beef and pork. In recent years, the cooperative has acquired the historic Parma Zuarina ham factory in Langhirano (PR) and the Faggiola dairy cooperative in Palazzuolo sul Senio (FI), renowned for its artisan-made Tuscan cheeses.

CLAI & FRIENDS: volley, rugby e pallamano nel segno dei valori
Il progetto "CLAI & FRIENDS" unisce sport ed educazione per promuovere i valori della cooperazione attraverso tre eccellenze sportive del territorio: CLAI Imola Volley, Pallamano Romagna e Scuola di Rugby di Imola.
In particolare la Polisportiva Volley CSI CLAI IMOLA nasce nel 1969 dall'idea di Francesco Spadoni e sua moglie Anna Maria Loreti, con l'obiettivo di utilizzare la pallavolo come strumento formativo per le giovani atlete.
Da allora, la crescita è stata costante: generazioni di atlete sono passate dai campi di allenamento con una doppia missione - imparare a giocare e imparare a vivere i valori della cooperazione.
La stagione 2023/2024 ha regalato la storica promozione in Serie A2, confermata poi nell’anno successivo.
Per il campionato 2025/2026 la squadra è guidata dal capitano Sofia Cavalli, palleggiatrice cresciuta nel settore giovanile, e conta su un mix di esperienza e gioventù.
L'allenatore Simone Bendandi e l'assistente Odelvis Dominico Speek guidano il gruppo verso nuovi traguardi.
Il settore giovanile rappresenta il fiore all'occhiello della società, offrendo percorsi di crescita per atlete di ogni età.
Clai S.c.a. participates in the project 'PARSUTT - PARma ham high SUsTainability sTandard' - Initiative realized under the 2014-2020 Regional Rural Development Program of Emilia-Romagna - Operation Type 16.1.01 - European Innovation Partnership Operational Groups: Productivity and Sustainability of Agriculture - Focus Area 3A - Improving the competitiveness of primary producers by better integrating them into the agri-food supply chain through quality schemes, creating added value for agricultural products, promoting products in local markets, short supply chains, associations and producer organizations, and interprofessional organizations.
