FAQ

SHIPMENTS

On average, online orders can be delivered within two days, increasing to five days for deliveries to islands or during busy periods of the year (such as the particularly busy Christmas period, strikes, natural disasters, etc.). During weekdays, average delivery times are even shorter: typically, every order received is prepared the same day and is forwarded to the courier for shipping the following business day. If the order arrives over the weekend, it will be forwarded to the courier for shipping on Monday.

A new delivery attempt will be arranged the following day. For any issues, requests, and/or needs, please contact Clai headquarters by email at assistenzaclienti@clai.it.

PRODUCTS

The website www.clai.it offers various product types: salami, ham, and cheese. Each product can be purchased individually (multiple pieces of the same product) and/or combined with other products (in customizable boxes). Some products are also included in pre-defined themed boxes; for example, the Passita cured sausage, Contadino salami, and Campagnolo salami are included together in the "Profumo di Romagna" box. Some products, such as wine and olive oil, can only be purchased in pre-defined boxes. For example, the Sangiovese DOC "Campo di Mezzo" from Cantina Tremonti can only be purchased with the "A Piadina in Company" box.

Yes, in the product sheets and/or in the presentation sheet of the pre-packaged boxes, you can find information about: the production process, the organoleptic characteristics, usage recommendations, storage instructions, ingredients, and the nutritional table.

Zuarina is one of the historic ham factories in Langhirano, a town that became world-famous for its Parma Ham. Since 2012, Clai has gradually acquired a majority stake, eventually taking over the company entirely. Renowned for its distinctive sweetness, Zuarina ham is known and appreciated in the most prestigious locations around the world. The distinctive features that characterize the high quality of Zuarina's offerings are numerous and well-integrated by a focus on the local area, Italian raw materials, and people. From the careful selection of exclusively 100% Italian meat from a controlled, in-house supply chain, to the attention to every stage of the process. From the pinch of salt in the salting process to the particularly long and delicate "cold" resting process. From the hand-tying to the excellence of the boning, performed in-house by master butchers, aimed at achieving the highest possible quality in customer service. The long curing process takes place in the underground cellar, the ideal place to promote the development of the aromas and colors that distinguish the quality of Zuarina ham.

At the end of 2019, the AgriCoop cooperative, owner of the "Faggiola" brand, was incorporated into Clai. "Faggiola" cheeses, named after the mountain overlooking the production valleys, are made in Palazzuolo sul Senio (Florence), in the Tuscan-Romagna Apennines. They are strictly artisanal, still handcrafted one by one by master cheesemakers who preserve the wisdom of rural tradition combined with the assurance of certified and constantly evolving quality. Only high-quality, 100% Italian mountain milk from the pastures of the Tuscan-Romagna Apennines is used.

First and foremost, it focuses on quality criteria, verified and recognized by the market. Then, too, it focuses on local traditions and, where possible, cooperative membership. For example, the TRE MONTI WINERY. Family-run, it boasts 55 hectares of vineyards spread across two estates: one in the hills of Imola and one in the hills of Forlì, two neighboring yet distinct yet complementary locations. Having received numerous awards for the quality and distinctiveness of its products, it is present in over 20 global markets (www.tremonti.it).
