"Fragranze di Salame" is much more than a new line: it's a visionary project that merges the art of charcuterie with artisanal perfumery. For three years, CLAI masters worked closely with Baldo Baldinini, the renowned "master of essences," with an audacious goal: to go beyond the traditional concept of flavoring to explore new sensory frontiers. The true revolution lies in the method: unlike common cured meats, where spices are simply added to a standard recipe, here a bespoke mixture has been created. A meat base structurally designed to welcome and retain the purest and most complex botanical essences. The result is a complete aroma, a deep harmony between the sweetness of the meat and a bouquet of aromas that stimulates the sense of smell even before the palate, transforming the tasting into an immersive experience. The character of Basil: In this 150 gr version, the queen of Italian aromatics takes center stage in a pocket-sized format. The essence of Basil gives the small salami an immediate, clean, and persistent vegetable freshness. The products are placed in special boxes and carefully packaged. We wrap all loose cured meats, loose whole cheeses, and glass products such as sauces, jars, bottles of wine, and oil in paper. All these box preparation operations are carried out by Clai staff. During the warmer months, we use refrigerated transport.
