5th Campestre and Ecological Walk Clai: the now classic itinerary among the landmarks of Sasso Morelli

Sasso Morelli (Imola), September 2024 - The Fifth edition of the Campestre CLAI and Ecological Walk organized by CLAI in collaboration with Atletica Imola Sacmi Avis, the ER Regional Committee of the Federation of Athletics, the Bolognese Running Committee and the Municipality of Imola was held on Sunday, September 8. More than 620 participants divided between athletes and "walkers" who tackled the route from Villa la Babina to Palazzo Morelli, passing by the salumificio, the biogas plant and the ancient Pieve di Cantalupo, to arrive at the row of monumental Farnie trees on Via Papotta and cross the finish line at the Directional Center CLAI.

Athletes competed in the 12-km road race, included in the FIDAL Regional Calendar, while the others participated in the 7-km "Ecological Walk," organized in collaboration with the Sasso Morelli Polisportiva, to support enhance and promote the cultural heritage of the area.
All participants CLAI offered a rich buffet with the Group's products: salami CLAI, raw Zarina and Faggiola cheeses.

At the end of the competitive race, prizes were awarded to the top three male (Ricciardi Luis Matteo - Atletica Imola SACMI AVIS, Eccoli Fabio - Lucchese and Magagnoli Rudy Triiron) and top three female overall finishers (Cocchi Francesca - Calcestruzzi Corradini, Cicognani Federica - Atletica Imola SACMI AVIS and Borsari Serena - Società Victoria) along with the top three finishers in each category. Finally, awards were also given to the top three companies with the highest number of entries.

Again this year all proceeds are entirely donated to ASD Atletica Imola Sacmi-Avis for sports educational activities.
