Clai Parma Ham is aged for over 12 months and deboned in the Zuarina subsidiary's facility in Langhirano, Parma. During this phase, the skilled hands of expert butchers meticulously process the ham to ensure proper stability over time and a more attractive and uniform slice. The rind-cleaning process is also meticulous, designed to enhance the ham's organoleptic and aesthetic qualities. Clai Parma Ham is a delicious, healthy, and authentic product. No preservatives or additives have ever been used, resulting in a flavorful and completely natural product. Two other ingredients are added to the pork leg and salt: time and the dry, gentle wind of the fragrant Parma hills. The uniqueness of this area lies in its ideal climatic conditions for natural aging, which give the ham its unmistakable sweetness. Protected designation of origin pursuant to Law No. 26/90 and Regulation (EC) 1107/96 Certified by a Control Body authorised by the competent Ministry.
