Origini e caratteristiche della Spianata Piccante La spianata piccante è un salume tipico del Sud Italia, in particolare della Calabria, conosciuto anche come schiacciata piccante per la sua forma piatta e allungata. Viene preparata con carne di suino macinata finemente, con un mix di parti magre e grasse ben equilibrate, e arricchita con peperoncino e talvolta semi di finocchio. Dopo l’insaccatura, la spianata viene pressata per alcuni giorni e stagionata fino a ottenere il caratteristico colore aranciato e il gusto deciso.
