The beautiful and long-awaited sports event organized by CLAI returns after two years of forced hiatus, right in the year of the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Cooperative and again in the places that have marked the history of the area and characterized the success of CLAI, from 1962 until today.
On Sunday, September 4, at 9:30 a.m., the 3rd edition of the "Campestre CLAI" (the 12-kilometer road race, included in the FIDAL Regional Calendar and organized in collaboration with ASD Atletica Imola Sacmi-Avis) will start, with the participation of numerous athletes and sports teams. The footrace will take place on a course built according to the logic of 100 percent nature, and will run from Villa la Babina to Palazzo Morelli, passing by the sausage factory, the biogas plant and the ancient Pieve di Cantalupo, to arrive at the row of monumental Farnie trees on Via Papotta and cross the finish line at the Directional Center CLAI.
As in previous editions, the race will be flanked by the 7-km "Ecological Walk," open to everyone (young and old, young and old) organized in collaboration with the Sasso Morelli Polisportiva, to support enhance and promote the cultural heritage of the area. All proceeds will be donated to ASD Atletica Imola Sacmi-Avis for sports educational activities.
