After a two-year hiatus, the exciting and eagerly awaited sporting event organized by CLAI returns, marking the 60th anniversary of the Cooperative's founding and once again in the places that have shaped the history of the area and shaped CLAI's success from 1962 to the present day.
The third edition of the "Campestre CLAI" (a 12 km road race included in the FIDAL Regional Calendar and organized in collaboration with ASD Atletica Imola Sacmi-Avis) will begin on Sunday, September 4th at 9:30 a.m. Numerous athletes and teams will participate in the race. The race follows a 100% natural course, winding from Villa la Babina to Palazzo Morelli, passing by the salami factory, the biogas plant, and the ancient Pieve di Cantalupo church, before arriving at the row of monumental oak trees on Via Papotta and crossing the finish line at the CLAI Management Center.
As in previous editions, the race will be accompanied by a 7km "Ecological Walk," open to everyone (young and old, young and old). The event is organized in collaboration with the Sasso Morelli Sports Association to support, enhance, and promote the area's cultural heritage. All proceeds will be donated to ASD Atletica Imola Sacmi-Avis for educational sports activities.
