100% Italian Award: CLAI celebrates Frolla at Villa La Babina

The eighth edition of the 100% Italiano Award took place on Saturday, September 13, in the historic park of Villa La Babina in Sasso Morelli di Imola.
The award is part of Settembre CLAI in Villa, the series of convivial initiatives that the Cooperative organizes each year to create opportunities for meeting and dialogue with the Imola area.

Established in 2016, the 100% Italiano Award aims to celebrate our country's heritage and traditions by rewarding individuals and businesses that stand out for their commitment to promoting culture, work, and solidarity.

The 2025 edition featured the Cooperativa Frolla of Osimo, in the province of Ancona, chosen by CLAI as a virtuous example of how social inclusion and local roots can transform into a business model capable of generating authentic value.

The awards ceremony took place at 7:00 pm, during an invitation-only gala evening that enlivened the villa with applause, emotion, and moments of sharing.

Frolla, a laboratory of taste and inclusion

Frolla is much more than an artisanal biscuit factory. It's a social enterprise founded on May 12, 2018, in Osimo (AN), the result of a solid network of supporters and a crowdfunding campaign that turned a dream into reality. The idea was simple yet powerful: to create biscuits "made like they used to be," a sweet treat that can unite everyone, made by young people with disabilities. Behind this project is a desire to overcome pity, restore dignity and concrete possibilities, and showcase the skills and enthusiasm of those involved.

Frolla biscuits are renowned for their authentic flavor and the quality of their carefully selected ingredients, thanks to a local network that shares passion and dedication. It is precisely this combination of authenticity, the beauty of their mission, and their deep connection to the local community that convinced CLAI to award Frolla the 100% Italiano Award 2025. This recognition goes beyond mere symbolism, rewarding those who create a viable future through sweetness and inclusion.
