CLAI OPEN DOORS, events and guided tours: the journey to discover the Cooperative begins with Passita

Imola, July 2023 For a cooperative like CLAI, which values ​​transparency and inclusion as two essential elements of its very essence, the word "hospitality" has always been of great importance. With this in mind, the return of " CLAI Open Doors" becomes a key summer event. The event, which will bring many inspiring initiatives to Imola on the first weekend of September, will offer a first-hand look at how a major agri-food company operates.

“Compared to last year, we have introduced some new elements in terms of quality of our proposal, while maintaining intact the nature and essence of CLAI Open Doors, which for us remains an event based on transparency. – he underlines Giovanni Bettini , President CLAI –. These days, everyone, without exception, can experience the world of CLAI firsthand. This year's main innovation is the meeting "Excellent Cured Meats: Passita di Romagna," which will focus on a product of the local rural and gastronomic tradition that embodies the distinctive characteristics of our cooperative. It is precisely from here, from this cured meat that symbolizes the value we have undertaken, that we will begin an immersive experience for our guests, guiding them on a journey to discover the secrets that have made CLAI great over its 60-plus years of existence. A journey through which participants will learn what inspires every product we make.

CLAI is therefore ready to open its doors to the community once again, with several activities planned:

EXCELLENT CURED MEATS: ROMAGNA PASSITA

The central part of this edition, therefore, will be the event “ Salami di eccellenza: la Passita di Romagna ”, which will be held Sunday, September 3, at 4:00 p.m. , at the Multipurpose Room of the CLAI Business Center. A paid event reserved for a maximum of 60 participants, which will open with the Meeting of presentation (origins, culture, tradition and characteristics of the Passita di Romagna CLAI), will continue with 2 Guided tours (at the Salumificio di Sasso Morelli and – only in case of good weather – at the historic Park and Garden of Villa La Babina, included in the circuit of the Great Italian Gardens) and will conclude with a Buffet in the Villa.

“LYRICA IN VILLA” CONCERT

Starting from the big concert “Lyric in the Villa” organized in collaboration with Emilia-Romagna Festival , which will be held Saturday September 2nd starting at 9.30 pm At Villa La Babina, in Sasso Morelli di Imola, the Cooperative's headquarters. At this now traditional opera event in the park, the internationally renowned mezzo-soprano from Romagna will perform music by Donizetti, Bizet, Puccini, and Rossini. Daniela Pini and the tenor Diego Cavazzin , accompanied by Lorenzo Bavaj , historic tenor pianist Jose Carreras and other great voices on the international scene.

CROSS-COUNTRY RUN AND ECOLOGICAL WALK

The next day, Sunday, September 3rd , will open with the fourth edition of the “ Campestre CLAI,” a competitive 12km race starting at 9:30 a.m., and a more relaxing 7km “ Ecological Walk, ” open to all, which will allow participants to fully enjoy the beauty of the route that winds along the quarries that border the new forestry facilities, among centuries-old trees, vineyards, and cultivated fields. All proceeds will be donated to ASD Atletica Imola Sacmi-Avis for educational sports activities.
